Triple Spectrum

Triple Spectrum

The potential doesn’t stop at Doubles. A Triple Perfects would be a Squiggle with exactly 768 color hues, akin to having three consecutive Perfect Spectrums within a Squiggle. Of course, as with Double Perfects, there is no combination that results in the exact 768 color hues to create a Triple Perfect. However, Triple Fulls, those within 1% of a Triple Perfect, do exist. Triple Fulls are referred to as “Triples,” because the Triple Perfect is not in existence, there is no name differentiation.

Not only cool because of their rarity, Triples also make up the majority of the Top10 list of most colorful Squiggles. After sorting Squiggles with 200 steps (i.e. Normals, Ribbeds and Bolds), from most to least colorful– excluding Hypers– 8 Triples and 2 Rainbows form the Top10.

Defining attributes

A Triple Full Spectrum is a Squiggle with 200 steps that is within 1% of having each of the 256 colors displayed exactly three times (i.e. within 1% of Triple Perfect or within 1% of 768 color hues)
