Rainbow Spectrum
Defining Doubles and Triples, led SquiggleDAO to ask another question: What is the maximum number of color hues in a Squiggle? Back to the drawing board. The formula for a maximum number of color hues requires:
1) the highest number of segments, i.e. 20. Segments go from 12 to 20. The higher the value, the longer the Squiggle, and therefore the more color hues that will be displayed.
2) Steps = 200. This will include just Normals, Ribbeds and Bolds. Slinkies and Pipes have 50 and Fuzzies 1,000 steps.
3) The lowest possible color spread. For instance, 5. Color Spread goes from 5 to 50, with the exception of Hypers that have 0.5. Color Spread is most clearly described as the distance between colors in a Squiggle, so the lower the color spread, the more colorful the Squiggle.
With this combination of 20 segments, 200 steps and color spread 5, the most colorful Squiggles can exist! True grails, if you ask anyone!
