Signing up to SquigSig generates a certificate and an email signature template which you can copy and paste into your email client. The certificate will allow email recipients to verify that you are the owner of the Squiggle in your signature.
If you choose the private option, it will not be possible to view your certificate at squiggledao.com/squigsig/#squiggle_id. Instead a unique identifier will be generated allowing only mail recipients to view your details.
Please be aware, if you're using a private SquigSig, a new unique ID will be generated each time you update your details. Previous certificates will then become invalid. This is to protect your privacy.
If you wish future updates to be visible to recipients sent emails prior to the update, please use the public option.
Not at the moment. While we thought this might be something people want, it turns out that most people don't want to pay for this. People we spoke to preferred the gasless option.
Nevertheless, we are still looking to build an on-chain option too. But given the preference was for gasless, we opted to build that first.
